The RTA ID Center (closed since the hurricane) has re-opened. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The ID Center is located in ADA-accessible trailers at the A. Philip Randolph facility, 2817 Canal Street.
Please use the Canal Street breezeway. The Bienville Street entrance is now closed. No parking is permitted in the breezeway area.
The RTA ID Center issues the following identification:
Bike Permits
Fixed Route Senior Reduced Fare ID
Fixed Route Disabled Reduced Fare ID
Paratransit ID (for those with an ADA Certified Disability).
Senior applicants for Fixed Route Reduced Fare ID can present a Medicare card and Driver's License or State ID. Applicants under 65 can present a Medicare card, Driver's License or State ID, and the Social Security Award Letter.
