RTA Hosts Meeting to Get Feedback on Regional Ride Pass Program

What:              The Regional Transit Authority wants to hear your experience with its Regional Ride
pilot program. The program, started in Fall 2018, grants bus riders all-day access to
both RTA and JeT bus lines without purchasing separate passes.

When:             Monday, March 18th
                        Meeting starts at 4pm

Where:            The Bulldog, Mid-City
                        5135 Canal Blvd.
                        New Orleans, LA

Why:              Helping Riders move easily between Orleans and neighboring parishes is a priority
for the RTA. That’s why it teamed up with JeT to put in service the Regional Ride pilot
program last year. Started in September of 2018, the program allows riders to purchase
$6 passes that grant access to RTA and JeT bus lines for the day. There have been
more than 13,000 Regional Ride passes sold since then, and the pass has been used
more than 52,000 times. The RTA will continue to offer the Regional Ride pass. It also
extended its #39 Tulane bus line last year to complement the program. Commuters
heading to Ochsner’s Main Campus and beyond can now take just one bus to their
