Streetcar charters are available on a first come, first served basis, and have limited daily availability. Charters are also not available immediately before, after, or on holidays, during festivals, or city-wide events and activities. We attempt to assist clients in their planning by providing a list of blackout dates in which streetcar charters cannot be booked. While this list is comprehensive, please understand that in addition to blackout dates, streetcar charters may be impacted, prohibited and/or cancelled or rescheduled for several reasons. These reasons include but are not limited to: inclement weather, hurricanes, construction, street closures, required maintenance and other unforeseen events. Should an unforeseen event occur, we will work with you to reschedule or refund your event. We look forward to working with you to plan your Streetcar Charter in New Orleans.

Any charter requests received in less time may not be granted for the requested date. The individual who signs the contract agreement with the RTA must be at least 18 years of age.

The remaining balance is due 30 days before the date of your scheduled charter. Accepted payment forms are a cashier's check, a certified check, or a money order. Please make checks payable to “Regional Transit Authority.” Due to circumstances beyond our control, RTA may cancel or reschedule booked charters at any time at the discretion of the RTA. The RTA reserves the right to require the rental of the Carrollton Streetcar Barn at an additional charge due to the nature and size of the Streetcar charter. These additional fees may include but are not limited to security and additional staffing.
