RTA encourages riders to prepare for potential weather-related service disruption

NEW ORLEANS – In preparation for severe weather expected to impact the New Orleans area this afternoon, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) advises riders to monitor NOLAReady and RTA rider alerts if weather-related service disruptions are imposed. The RTA will operate normal service as long as it is safe to do so.
Additionally, the RTA Customer Service located Canal Street Facility is closed as of 12 p.m. today until further notice.
