RTA to Host Final Public Meeting on Accessibility Study

  • March 3rd, 2026

New Orleans — The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is inviting riders, residents, and community stakeholders to attend the final public meeting for its Universal Accessibility Study (UAS). 

As the study concludes, this meeting will provide an opportunity for attendees to review key findings, hear proposed recommendations, and share feedback that will help shape improvements to across the RTA system.

Time: 5:30 – 7:00 PM

The Universal Accessibility Study looks at how riders of all abilities experience public transportation and identifies practical ways to improve access, ease of use, and the overall rider experience. 

RTA encourages riders, advocates, and community members to participate in this important conversation and help guide the next steps toward a more accessible transit system.
