Streetcar Services During Mardi Gras

St. Charles streetcar line has been de-energized for the remainder of the parade season. Buses will continue to operate on the streetcar route until pedestrian traffic becomes unsafe.
Shuttle bus services will operate from St Charles & Valence to Loyola & Common. The shuttle will operate outbound from Loyola & Common to St Charles & Valence.
During and ahead of parades, consider taking alternate bus routes when possible to reduce delays to your ride.
Regular St Charles streetcar service will resume Wednesday, February 18 at 5:00 am.
Streetcars will not service Rampart corridor before and during parades. Service will run between Union Passenger terminal and Canal St. When streetcars are not in operation, riders can use the #8, #55, or #91 buses along Rampart St. to access the Central Business District (CBD).
Streetcars will not run on line Thursday, Feb. 12 through Saturday, Feb. 14. Bus will service line during this period.
During Mardi Gras season, the 47 streetcar will provide service from the Cemeteries Transit Center to Canal & Lasalle (Liberty).
There will be no streetcar service from Canal & Lasalle (Liberty) to Canal St Ferry Terminal until parades have cleared Canal St.
Streetcars will not run on line Thursday, Feb. 12 through Saturday, Feb. 14. Bus will service line during this period.
During Mardi Gras season, the 48 will travel between City Park and Canal & Lasalle (Liberty). 
There will be no streetcar service from Canal & Lasalle (Liberty) to Canal St Ferry Terminal until parades have cleared Canal St.
Regular service.
