New Orleans RTA introduces online Public Records Request Center

  • July 15th, 2022

New Orleans – Today, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) introduced an online Public Records Request (PRR) Center, as part of the agency’s commitment to transparency and information sharing. This online public portal offers individuals one system for submitting and tracking public disclosure requests, downloading records, monitoring the status of their previously submitted requests, communicating with public disclosure officers, and making payments. The new online platform is hosted on the RTA website.

The new Public Records Request Center builds on recent agency efforts to enhance the user experience for individuals seeking to access RTA information sharing including the launching of a new agency website, as well as a new platform for hosting RTA Board of Commissioner’s meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations. Innovations like these demonstrate the RTA’s commitment to building public trust, enhancing accountability, and creating a culture of transparency, while harnessing the power of technology.

Requests for records can be submitted through the Public Records Request Center or mailed to the agency via USPS to the address below. All requests must include name, mailing address, email, and telephone number.

New Orleans Regional Transit Authority
