RTA Announces 2026 Fall Service Changes Effective September 20

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will implement its Fall 2026 service changes beginning this Sunday, September 20, 2026. The changes include schedule adjustments on select bus and streetcar lines designed to improve service reliability and make travel more predictable for riders.
Schedule Adjustments
Beginning September 20, updated schedules will take effect on the following lines:
- 12 – St. Charles Streetcar
- 61 – Lake Forest/Village de L’Est
- 62 – Morrison/Bullard
- 62-O – Morrison Owl
Riders are encouraged to review the updated timetables in advance and allow additional travel time during the first week as the new schedules take effect.
Updated schedules will be available at norta.com/service, through the Le Pass app, at local libraries, and in the lobby of RTA headquarters at 2817 Canal Street.
