RTA Encourages Riders to “Catch a Ride” to the 2025 French Quarter Festival

  • April 11th, 2025

NEW ORLEANS  -  The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) invites locals and visitors to roll with us to the 2025 French Quarter Festival, happening April 10 - 13. With limited parking and heavy traffic expected, public transit is the easiest, most stress-free way to get to the heart of the festivities. Whether by bus, streetcar, or ferry, RTA has you covered--so leave the car behind and Catch a Ride to the Quarter!

To support the anticipated increase in ridership, RTA will operate an additional ferry boat on the Algiers - Canal Street route throughout the festival. Riders can also take advantage of enhanced service on the Canal Streetcar line, offering more frequent trips for convenient access to the French Quarter. Visit your app store to download the RTA Le Pass app for schedules, route planning, and real-time service updates.

Ride safely. Ride responsibly. Ride RTA.
