RTA Invites Public Input on Algiers Service Improvements
- November 13th, 2025
New Orleans, LA — The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is inviting Algiers residents, workers, and riders to help shape the future of public transit on the Westbank.
As part of the Algiers Service Improvement Plan (ASIP), launched in August, the RTA is exploring ways to make bus service in Algiers more reliable, efficient, and better aligned with how people travel. Since the project began, the RTA has collected valuable rider feedback and analyzed travel patterns and ridership data.
Now, the agency is sharing the results and proposed service options with the community. Riders are encouraged to review the findings and share their thoughts by attending an upcoming public meeting or completing a short online survey.
