RTA Issues Rider Advisory for Zombie Run & Krewe of BOO! Parade, Saturday October 25th

New Orleans, LA — The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is alerting riders to service disruptions and delays throughout the day on Saturday, October 25, due to Krewe of BOO! events taking place across the city.
Service detours and interruptions will begin at 7 AM on the 12 St. Charles Streetcar line for the Krewe of BOO! Zombie Run.
The Krewe of BOO! parade will cross several major transit routes, affecting bus and streetcar service throughout the evening starting at 4:30 PM. Riders should plan ahead and expect detours, delays, and potential stop relocations along the route. The following routes are expected to be affected:
- Route 80 Desire–Louisa
- Route 11 Magazine
- 47 Canal Streetcar – Cemeteries
- 48 Canal Streetcar – City Park
- 49 Riverfront Streetcar
In addition, Canal/Algiers Ferry Service will be increased with a supplemental vessel available as needed to ensure prompt service for riders attending the parade.
