RTA service impacts due to St. Patrick's Day festivities

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans RTA will amend service to some bus and streetcar routes due to planned parades and festivities downtown. Beginning Saturday, March 12 at 1 PM, service along the following routes will be adjusted:  

  • #91- Jackson/Esplanade: There will be no service between Simon Bolivar at Jackson Ave to Tchoupitoulas (Walmart). Service will stop at Simon Bolivar Ave.  
  • #27- Louisiana: There will be no service from Carondelet to Tchoupitoulas (outbound).  
  • #11- Magazine: There will be no service from Felicity St. to Marengo St. on Magazine. Busses will detour beginning at Calliope St. to Magazine Ave.  
  • #12 St. Charles Streetcar- There will be no streetcar service between Napoleon and Erato. Limited streetcar service will operate from Erato St. to Canal St. Full service will operate from Carrollton and Claiborne to Napoleon and St. Charles.
