NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority announced the suspension of ferry service along the Lower Algiers - Chalmette ferry route due to Hurricane Ida. Ferry service will suspend beginning at 6 p.m. tonight, until conditions improve to safely resume service.
